VIRTUAL MEDIA TOURS (ZOOM/SKYPE MEDIA TOURS)

This is obviously a confusing and trying time for every industry, including ours. But, amidst the madness, we know we all in the PR industry still have a responsibility to get your clients’ messaging out into the news.  Gourvitz has a new solution to make sure your message can get into the news with your spokesperson safe in the privacy of their home.  

We’re now offering VIRTUAL MEDIA TOURS. The talent stays safe in the comfort of their own home, and all of the production is handled and completed by our team in a studio. As you see first-hand during our current news cycle, many live shots are being Skyped as newsrooms continue to look for alternative and safe ways to broadcast their stories.  We still have access to, and can source great lifestyle or celeb spokespeople, in all areas.

How it works:

• The talent stays at home and dials into our studio Skype account (or other interface)

• We send out the Skype (or other interface) signal via satellite (just like a standard Satellite Media Tour) 

• You can send us B-Roll or pictures/assets, and we can do the media tour seamlessly (including TV, radio and internet)

• All the talent needs is a laptop with a camera and an internet connection.

We have continued to monitor newsroom content, and we have been in touch with producers in DMAs across the country. We have learned that many stations are still broadcasting their Lifestyle shows, many of which take satellite interview content regularly. As you can imagine, many media tours have been canceled over the last couple weeks, that means news stations are hungry for content and many have reached out to us directly, sharing this message.
